I have a large collection of science fiction and fantasy mass market paperbacks from the ‘50s through the’70s — amazing covers! Book covers nowadays suck because they have to be legible when reduced to cell-phone tiny size.

The aging population can not read the tiny letters in mass market paperbacks. Trade size cost more than an extra 30 cents to produce due to the paper quality, etc. Some older readers have switched to ebooks because type size is adjustable. Cell phones replaced mass market books for portable reading.
