She got curvesss
I solved the motor problems that i was having. I dropped the motor voltage to make them less twitchy and added more decoupling caps.
Its powered by 4 LiPos through my BMS&power supply board and is controlled by an arduino uno. Next step: more advanced control electronics.
I don't draw but when i take pictures i am definitely critical to myself while editing them. I notice things thay i could have done better. Which really helps in becoming better.
I got the holiday stuff mostly sorted out and prepared, so i can now actually relax and work a bit on my projects again.
I finally did it! I 100%-ed Ratchet and clank 3! Now for the all the others that i have..
If i can get my lazy ass into GNU image manipulation program I am going to edit this to give a middle finger. Because that is funny.
Bonjour!
It's my first #fursuitfriday!
Can't wait to jump around y'all!

Meh, you're exagerating on how serious this is. Malicious actors already need local access to the system for this exploit to work. By which point you're fucked, regardless of this vulnerability or not.
Man, that Ploopy Knob is some over-engineered stuff.
It is pretty funny :)
Fear mongering imo. Key word is _local_ user. Attackers already need to be inside your system in a shell to use this bug. At which point you got bigger problems.
I know exactly how you feel..
Or, as i've recently taken to calling it, systemd plus linux.
I'm making plenty use of Kicads ability to smooth traces. While technically not necessary, it does add a lot to the aesthetics of the PCB design. Which is moot in this case, because all of these traces are on an internal layer :/ but it's so pretty
I'm currently designing a battery power supply for the hexapod that I'm making. The design is as good as finished, but i need to do some tweaks to the silkscreen and give everything a double check.
I've seen a bot like this before on mastodon. Its scary to think how many production plants and machinery is just connected to the internet without any protection at all. I seriously hope you cannot give any inputs to these HMIs over VNC.. That shit is lethal

Rules.
0. Don’t be on fire.
1. Don’t feel you HAVE to drink, you are an adult.
2. I am human, I will inevitably miss things. Feel free to drink off your own back, no need to tell me.
3. I’ll make stuff up. I am not a slave to my own game.
4. If you don’t want me to quote you, don’t @ me.
Oh my god it's true xD
a mechanical drawing in ISO format A4, scale 1:1 labeled "PROBE HOLDER OWON D35T". Various other drawing properties are also on the sheet. The object looks like a snall box with 2 holes drilled from the top to accept two multimeter probes. The object has a chamfered hole in the front which accepts a fastener for mounting the object. Various dimensions are given for the object. There is also a note pointing to the back of the object which reads "THIS FACE ON PRINT BED"
Did a bit of mechanical stuff yesterday evening. Nothing too fancy
on the workbench is shown a small round tin can of soldering flux. it is a yellow paste with the consistency that can best be described as thick hand cream or runny vaseline. next to it is a transparent plastic non-medical syringe with a cap on the end. it. it is filled with the flux.
I have repurposed an almost empty syringe of good ol' Arctic MX-4 for my soldering flux. After i had cleaned the syringe, I was able to fill it by just sucking up the flux.
I should've just bought the flux syringe instead but oh well. This will be much easier than dicking around with the can.
I forgot to post this here, but I have added a new post to my website: nekai.dev/projects/mid...
Where I talk about the first iteration of the IO module for the MIDI router. I intend to add another post about the PCB itself pretty soon.
After that I will write about the software.
Merp
a shock to no one - turns out i am that lame - proof that there are new things on the horizon and i'm definately not doing absolutely nothing most of the time
