It’s been on my must read list of a very long time. I found it on the Banned Book table… that was an immediate buy now read now moment.

My current reading stack. I have varied tastes.

I didn’t realize just how much I needed to see this launch. This extraordinary achievement was not about power, or greed, or corruption, or hate. It was a reminder of the awesomeness of human ingenuity and how great we can be when we dream big dreams. I forgot what it felt to feel this way.

As an American I never really understood it.

Went to the ER. Apparently I tore an oblique muscle coughing. The pain was so sharp, sudden, and intense I collapsed and cried. I have meds now!

I’m currently listening to Ms. Gulalai Hotak speak at my church. She’s a former Afghanistan Supreme Court Justice that escaped her country when it was taken by the Taliban. She’s an amazing woman. There aren’t words big enough to express how incredible this person is.
