The true imsim curse is that adding weird mechanics and fun, and when you get a taste of it you just wanna add more weird mechanics rather than making the fucking content the game needs

The longer you work on a boomer shooter, the more imsim ideas start trying to attack your brain.

Programming has broken the part of my brain that used to be an artist. Tasks that used to make me think "Ah, nice repetitive chill-out time" now make me go "There are no PROBLEMS to SOLVE I am WASTING my TIME"

But sometimes, just sometimes, you'll make a prop for a specific purpose and then end up using it EVERYWHERE, and you don't know which one it's gonna be until you have five thousand dumbbells in a single level

There's such an annoying feeling when you have to make a prop for a single area of a single level and never knowing if you're ever going to use that prop ever again
