Decent line-up!
It’s yet another NYT piece about luggage! You are obsessed!
Me too. On the very day I should have been seeing them in Glasgow.
Well, this is fantastic. Without getting carried away, maybe Pog isn’t going to have it all his own way in the next few Tours after all.
Jack Cooke’s review from the October 1965 Jazz Monthly of Ornette Coleman’s first gig in the UK, with the Golden Circle trio.
Beautiful portrait by Val Wilmer.
No arguments here. CD is by far my favourite format.
é :-) Cheers!
How do you get that accent above the e? I’ve no idea. I’m on iPhone, if that matters.

Recorded just 10 months apart, one with orchestra, one without, and both terrific. ‘For Richard’ with the New Symphonia is really something.
I didn’t actually know that, so thank you.
What kind of format is it? All text, or coffee-table style mix of text and photos?
CDs having 80 minutes capacity was almost always more curse than blessing, I would say. Too many acts considered it compulsory to try to fill them, when they barely had enough decent material for a single vinyl album.

This is absolutely gorgeous. If you’ve lost track of what Weller has been up to (as I had until recently) I can definitely recommend giving it a try.
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ………..
Why does it need to ‘catch up’? What’s wrong with being happy with it at its current level? Are some people not making enough money out of it? Well, tough.
And the only thing wrong with the calendar is that it’s full of races in countries that couldn’t care less. Stick to the heartlands.
I love that you got that bird in shot.
I bet he wasn’t showing off his ELP albums when he worked at the NME.
Where are tickets on sale? Is it just the Albert Hall website?
Morning, Andy
Peter Gabriel has a new album in the works. If he also decided to tour, possibly for the last time, in my dreams he does a career encompassing set.
First half - o/i back to So
Second half - PG 1-4
Encore - Genesis (maybe The Lamb, IKWIL, Carpet Crawlers)
Wouldn’t that be nice?
Clever video, annoying song.
Yes, perhaps not.
Always thought it a rather immodest title.
Caravan, on a package tour with Slade, Status Quo and Lindisfarne sounds like a very unlikely combination indeed. But apparently it went rather well.
From Daryl Easlea’s ‘Whatever Happened to Slade?’
I was actually just wondering if there was a later RVG issue CD with extras on. Well, I guess not!
I had just listened to Metheny/Meldhau which I enjoyed but which overstayed its welcome at 66 minutes, so this one’s brevity was appreciated, fabulous as it is.
Every album would be 40 minutes long if I were king for a day.

One of my absolute favourite Blue Notes. That vibes/organ/guitar/no horns combination is fabulous.
Beautiful morning for a walk along the Thames. Spring really is my favourite season.

Recent buy, top stuff. Must buy the quartet album.
