depending on how well the project goes and how many people consider paying for the (as reasonably priced as possible) paid plan when it comes out, i might up the free limit a bit

(paid plan is required for me to ever have enough money to keep this running long term sadly)

a little note on upload limits: we plan to give users 5gb of space to upload music on the free plan - this is over 15x the limit of soundcloud if you're uploading 320kbps mp3s!

flacs would be about 5x the limit of soundcloud from rough estimates

this is sadly where the "really nice looking UI" ends though as i venture into slamming my head into backend and just shoving out the worst looking UI known to mankind temporarily

(i'll fix it all later)

Oh and, by the way, we absolutely hate AI and won't use any of your data for it, full stop.
