UNHCR's 2024 #GlobalTrendsReport is out.
- 123.2M people were displaced by the end of 2024. An increase by nearly 6M people.
- Most people (73%) still fled to countries in the global south.
- Most refugees (67%) still sought asylum in neighboring states.
- Durable solutions were still insufficient.
