Eduardo Rivera had a wild story even before being promoted to Triple A Sunday, never pitched, and promoted to the majors today.
But my favorite part is that he invited a family who owns his winter ball team's bat dog (named Salvatore) to Fenway for his debut

Ah. Interesting.
Terrific defender/athlete. That would be a nice callup.
He did! A relief role is a good fit for him. I’m excited to see how he will do for Boston.
With Rivera, eight of the A's 20 picks in 2021 have reached the big leagues. Pretty decent percentage.
Former A's prospect who always had a good arm but they weren't able to unlock his talents and released him in 2024. Great to see him reach the big leagues!
for sure. And no one should pick a fight with Trader Joe's fans (complimentary). Have you seen those lines for tote bags? 😂
Oh no! That TJs location is iconic.
😂
My only experience at that park was an interleague game against the Cardinals, so it was a sellout (or close). We were staying at a motel a couple of highway stops away and it took us two hours to get from the motel to the stadium because of the traffic. Was nice inside though.
FRANKLIN ARIAS HOMERED AGAIN
It's already the fifth homer of the season with Double-A Portland for the No. 2 Red Sox prospect.

More Korean players entering through the international route.

I think we have to entertain the idea that most of the baseball teams are bad this year, even some of the good ones
There is literally too much infield talent in the lower rungs of the Nationals farm system to fit at one affiliate.
What a change that is.
Got an up-close view at that talent and the organizational changes they’ve made to maximize these guys:

Seeing Geronimo Berroa homer three times in two games with Roy Steele rolling those “r”s made it all worth it.
Pretty sure the A's were swept in that DH and their pitchers allowed like 20 runs but boy what a show!
One of my favorite memories was going to an A's-O's doubleheader at the Coliseum in 1996 just before I left for college. We arrived early for Game 1, chased home runs in the bleachers during BP and then watched two fastpitch softball teams just slug the heck out of the ball for two games.
I was happily out of the country for most of the summer of 1994 pre-internet and everything else. Came home to find the A's under .500 but also with a chance to "secure" first place before the strike. Glad I missed it, lol.
Munetaka Murakami’s nine home runs are the most of any Japanese-born player in his first 23 MLB games
He has three more than any other Japanese-born player in first 23 MLB games, ahead of Shohei Ohtani, who had six in his first 23 games as a hitter

Oh man I must have eaten a thousand of your family’s chips then. The nachos with the fake cheese sauce and jalapeños was my go-to for awhile. 😂
I have so many little plastic ice cream hats. It was very funny to put them on my kids’ heads when they were babies (to me anyway).
Those were so good. Also the bbq steamed pork buns.
Carnation chocolate malt with a wooden spoon is the only correct answer.
Even putting aside the audacity of building this kind of thing, it's also pretty clear none of these people believe they are subject to a normal human lifespan.
