As a trans NHS employee, this is something I'm discussing with senior managers.

Firstly, on a purely medical level, individual hospital rooms need to be ringfenced for infectious patients etc. There are not enough of them to be used as trans ghettos.

I think we should not have hospital wards at all. We should have individual rooms. Far better for so many reasons such as patient privacy and infection control.

You may be laughing but I hear Starmer was practicing his surprised face in the mirror all night and now he’s quite sleepy.

There’s a lot of gathering documents from over the past couple of years for proof. It’s a bit of a pain if you don’t get much mail with your name on. So much is digital these days. Your GP will likely charge you for filling in the second doctor’s letter. It was about £30 for me.
