Let that sink in. And keep in mind all the Americans who wanted to attend but could not, due to: having to work, caregiving, attending kids' sports, pre-planned events like weddings, illness and other disabilities. Oh, and not being able to afford gas or other transportation to the rally. Facts.
There are always people who will do that. However, there are also people who understand. The unending honks from cars passing by to support those who went out to protest were the biggest boosts. For us who were there, that was more than enough for those who were not there to stand beside us.
I give monthly donations or a donation in lieu of going to protests due to back, leg, and hip issues. And, spouse has dementia.
So, those who can't...share your donations with whom you agree with.
