That is my theory. It's why I occasionally post about Umamusume on my largely tabletop wargaming orientated feed. It filters out anybody who can't tolerate whimsy and cute nonsense in between images of exploding robots.

She's absolutely miniscule. I'm not sure if she is the tiniest Uma. But, she must be close to it. She's got to be fast, otherwise she'd get trampled on the last stretch.

I was browsing through flea markets a few weeks back and found a booth with the original Tarantulas in it; the non-transmetal version. Dude was asking $80 for it. I passed. That's the cost I paid for this cool third party version.

That seems to be the truth. Some cursory research shows the character has a long history after his alleged Beast Wars death.

I'm a very casual Transformers collector. However, a transmetal Tranatulas was always a white whale after watching the show. The toys were off the shelf by then.

The proxy name on the box is literally "Motor Spider."

That's the one I was looking for. They are all as expensive as this fancy one I bought.

It's this one. I bought it from Ebay. However, if I'd known it was shipping from overseas I would have looked for a different seller.

It looks very cool in person. But, I don't know how much "playing" I'll do with it cause if feels VERY delicate.

Tarantulas is super posable. But, dang, feels like I can break a joint at any moment. And, the online instructions link doesn't have a video on transforming him.

As a little reward I purchased one of those fancy third party Transformers. I kinda wonder if I'm the only Tarantulas fan in the world.

Yeah.....it's too late to change course. Each attempt to fix it will just add to the legend. Ten years from now old Street Fighter players will be telling new Street Fighter 9 kiddies about how that cool new fighter from Shelbyville is the product of Alex marrying his daughter sister cousin.

Unpopular opinion: Capcom should have just kept it. Trying to fix a bad decision only makes it worse and keeps it in the public discourse. The reply to the criticism should be "Yeah, it's wild. That Alex is a strange guy. Anyway, here is that inter-dimensional 1000-year-old magic girl nobody likes."

That Ork Skull looks totally psyched to be in the pile. Couldn't be happier.
