Here's a statement from Presbyterian Peace Fellowship on the President's threat to eliminate Iran's civilization later this afternoon. Please read it and share it widely. www.presbypeacefellowship.org/presbyterian...

I'm proud to be a card-carrying member of Presbyterian Peace Fellowship and on of the folks responsible for writing this prophetic denunciation of any military attack against Iran. Please read it and publish it abroad. www.presbypeacefellowship.org/presbyterian...
Here is Presbyterian Peace Fellowship's take on the US invasion of Venezuela. I helped write the document and I hope folks with read it and publish it abroad. www.presbypeacefellowship.org/presbyterian...
It is, alas the view of a country at war a nation let by an evil man in violent times.
For the record: no appeals to patriotism and calls to "honor the troops" will get me to support the United States' profoundly evil invasion of Venezuela.
We yew, we happy yew, we band of brothers...
Apparently the Justice Dept. is compiling a list of suspected domestic terrorists which will include those who advocate for open borders, something I've been doing for a long time, including in the introduction to "Neighbor" my award-winning book on immigration. Ms Bondi: put me on that list!
I get that everything is not about me but it sure feels like FIFA are doing everything they can to make me less interested in next year’s World Cup. apnews.com/article/trum...
Make no mistake: the drug causing the US war on Venezuela is neither cocaine nor fentanyl. It is the drug to which our automobiles are addicted.
Yea--you're probably correct. But that's too gross to contemplate 🤮
Could very well be.
He seems to be doing ok. Thanks for asking.
It was in Oakland.
Here's a photo of my friend and colleague, Jorge Bautista, getting shot in the face with a flashbang grenade. The ICE Agent is so afraid of Jorge (who was posing no threat) that he has wet himself. Please share this photo. Everyone needs to know what cowards ICE agents are.
Somehow, I doubt anyone on this chat will get treated as harshly as, say, the president of an Ivy League school where Students protested a genocide.
I'm hoping my forthcoming book puts me ahead of Donald Trump in line for the Nobel Peace Prize. Not that I think I'll win said award, but I do want to finish ahead of the guy who provokes and international incident every time an escalator doesn't work.
Just submitted a manuscript to its publisher. Let the edits commence! www.amazon.com/Grace-Over-G...
From my forthcoming book, "Grace Over Guns," (due out June of '26).
Lasted, what, 12 minutes?
More from my forthcoming book's rough draft. Incidentally, Herald Press has given my book a new title: "Grace Over Guns: Pursuing Peace in a Militarized World." It's set to be released in a year.
In which a sports business empire owned by a Roman Catholic, Italian American family buys a controlling interest in a soccer club with (and this is no exaggeration) the world most rabidly anti-Catholic fan base. Pass the popcorn. Things could get interesting.

Clergy actually do pay taxes. Churches don’t. But his personal income is taxed. Not that accuracy matters on social media.
¡Hijole!
Thank you. And it’s possible
—imperative even—that we can oppose all totalitarian regimes regardless of political ideology.
This part will probably remain in my book...
Now that is a question every author wants to answer! They are still in print and should be available to order wherever you buy books—Amazon or your local bookshop (the latter always being better for authors) thanks!
Here's something I wrote from a book I'm writing. It's good, but it didn't work where I'd written it, so for now it's been cut from the book. It may yet make it back in, but for now, because I think it deserves to be read, I'm publishing it on social media.
Just did an interview for German radio. The journalist wanted to know what my progressive church is doing in the Trump 2.0. Here's the thing: it's clear that the German guy was scared about what was going to happen in the United States, and he was scared because he grew up in postwar Germany. Scary.
