and it was genuinely a very simple interaction, but I am in absolute shambles from that little bit of polite kindness. in today's world where everything is chaos and negativity, a little star like her really brightened my day. I hope she'll always be okay. 💖

but she did since he was taking a little bit. and we just talked about the cups for a bit -- I was honestly shook since the cherry blossom designs never make it stateside, and she was super interested in my Starbucks cup knowledge.

she was waiting for her drink and was holding the change from the cash she used. the mom in me was telling her to put her cash away to be safe. she didn't want to because it was her dad's cause he paid for her drink but went to the rr. 🥺

to the sweet little black girl that chatted with me at Starbucks this morning just randomly commenting on the new cherry blossom cups and concluding our short convo with a lil wave and "it was so nice meeting you!" you made my entire day and I hope never dim your light for anyone.

I bought a brand new wet n wild eyeliner specifically for this and the felt tip got super dry 😔 I'll look into the break up one tho

he is! we both are very big nerds. I'm honored to have raised a creative, endearing, wonderful young man.

every time I get used to an eyeliner it's either discontinued or they change the formula and I absolutely hate that shit.

what is your favorite liquid eyeliner brand? felt tip pen preferred.

I need something that is saturated/opaque AF that can also handle being applied on top of heavy makeup/face paint.

Joann’s closing post their monopoly destroying a lot of small fabric businesses across the country is gonna impact cosplayers, and sewing/crafting hobby-ists of all kinds.

But hopefully it will give a chance for new small local fabric shops to pop up as well as those shops struggling to survive…

Dad's been gone for almost 4 years now, but every con season it's heartwarming to look back at my very humble beginnings, and how intrinsic his support was. as a matter of fact, if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't have "The Great" as my moniker.

7 years ago this month I entered my very first cosplay competition. I received a Judges Choice award. my grumpy ass dad, who through much of my life was known to be very stoic and never really expressed emotions, would tell any and everyone about how his daughter was Wonder Woman.
