Re-wrote an argument today to make the scene flow better and put more of the onus on Fiona and her faults. Also realized I like making even brief visits to the hell-world creepy as can be. Yay, I think?

There are a few. The biggest one is Marianne, the newly-invoked goddess. She is (even if unwillingly) the driving force behind most of the series.
Mother Lucina is another big one, ruler of the religion following Marianne, and she is more tangibly dangerous than Marianne due to her reach.

Cheryl would probably want to learn more about the Great War (in-world WW1/2 equivalent)
Marie would probably just want to learn basic survival/day-to-day stuff
Fiona would absolutely be demanding she take as many classes as possible about the world beyond humanity’s reach (and overworking herself)

Christy, for sure. She’s the lighthouse for one of the protagonists, keeps her grounded and guided. She tries her best to stay cheerful (for both her and Cheryl’s sakes). Cheryl feels grateful for her, but guilty too, since Christy always seems to be working overtime to get her out of the dumps.

I had to go through axing the old version of my story a while back (in hindsight, it was the best choice I ever made) and I STILL have a hard time with some of the stuff I had to drop.

That’d be sick. I’ll let you know when it’s ready then. Might be a little while still.

I have a habit of making this mistake (part of what takes me so long to write). I think you (as in, nebulously, not YOU you) eventually need to narrow down to spelling and grammar, maybe a little continuity, before going ahead and sending it out there.

Not yet. I’m cutting and redoing the stuff that feels too bloated on my end before I send it to anyone else. It still feels just a little off the mark.

General stuff like continuity, pacing, things like that. Cutting the fluff that doesn’t fit and trimming down stuff that’s a little too bloated.

Making some decent #editing progress the last few days. Made it through about 4 chapters, doing tunes ups and fixes and smoothing out stǔff. Coming together one day at a time :]

Cut a few unneeded plot lines and some character fluff that wasn’t going anywhere too.

Re-reading the Percy Jackson books has been way too fun. Gonna be posting some reviews for them when I’m done with all five. Just started Battle of the Labrynth now. These books were my inspiration as a kid.
