In a very fundamental sense, autism does not *exist*. Autism researchers who believe that it does and continue to search for the source are nothing more than credentialed Bigfoot hunters. It makes me sound like a crank to say, but even scientists can miss the forest for the trees

RFK jr. will never be able to prove that vaccines cause autism for the same reason that no one will ever be able to definitively prove that vaccines don't cause autism. "Autism" is a subjective and ever-changing behavioral diagnosis, not something you can find under a microscope.
