I have still not seen this movie and I feel terrible for it.
I don’t care how old he is. He can load, clean toilets, cook, walk point and well…
I laughed out loud. Unfortunately I was alone.
Whelp I won’t be buying the second one.
In the 70s but my first penguin encounter was Batman 66 when I was in Kindergarten. lol
Years later I had a friend who is a penguin fan. At the time I drew birthday cards for people and always drew penguins for her- I did a lot of research and just found those tux wearing water fliers adorable. 😊
Jules and Vern were going to have their own comic originally, but I could not think of a name for the penguin plush. I needed to get a comic out quick so Dani and Lulu won, but I still found a way to work Jules and Vern in.
Yes! I’m a big fan of penguins. It’s why Vern is even here. 😄
Panel 1a: Two arms are visible plunged into sudsy water. Bubbles float into the air. Panel 1b: Hands are wringing out the plush penguin Vern. Vern hangs limply as water pours from him. Panel 2: Jules holds Vern up and says, “Now for a quick spin, and you’ll be nice, clean, and dry.” Vern hangs damp and wet in Jules hands. Panel 3: Vern tumbles inside a dryer. The machine shakes with a “Thump, thump, thump, thump.” Panel 4: Vern sits puffed out and frazzled on a towel, fuzz sticking out in all directions. Lulu asks, “What happened?” Vern replies, “I don’t want to talk about it.”

That’s quite a feat!
Anaheim. Wondercon. Artist Alley. Booth C-13. I’ll see you there.
Well I have a small project this weekend.
I would always just fold it into itself until I had a clean surface. It helped that I would often fidget with it too. Had no idea soap and water would do anything other than damage them.
How?? I guess I can look it up, but I never knew it was possible.
Have a nice road trip. I hope you are able to gather some more material while having fun.
I always have an urge to respond but realize it’s not live and I’m not there. So I’m doing it here.
I used to show video of the galloping Gertie bridge to my earth science students.
This blew the first year college students minds.
Also I knew about Gertie the Dino. 🦕
I assume this is Garth doing the roadtripping? I’m envious, but taking my mind off it by catching up with Least Haunted Podcast. I’m listening to the Octopus Garden episode.
Panel 1: Jules and Dani greet each other. Jules holds a stuffed penguin version of Lulu. Jules shouts, “Jules!” and Dani shouts, “Dani!” Panel 2: The stuffed penguin Lulu sits on a chair facing Vern. They greet each other. Lulu says, “Lulu.” Vern replies, “Vern.” Panel 3: Vern says, “It’s nice to see we still have a connection in the real world. Also, you’re naked here too?” Panel 4: Lulu points at Vern and says, “So are you.” Vern replies, “Fair point.”
REPOST: Vern
Lulu and Vern have a play date.
One of the nice things about reposting all these old comics is I get to correct all the spelling errors. This one was particularly bad- but I’m not telling. You can guess.

😂 I have a coworker and this is how we greet each other in the morning:
“Morning Sam.” “Morning Ralph.”
If you know, you know. 😂
In 1871 a “psychic” former sex worker turned millionaire stock broker and journalist preaching “free love” ran to be the first female President of the United States. And that’s just pretty damn cool.
You can learn more about it on the most recent episode of Least Haunted, “Other Powers”.
Panel 1: Dani asks, “Who is that artist you bring up sometimes?” Lulu excitedly replies, “Oh stars yes! The story of creation!” Panel 2: Lulu narrates, “First there was the artist and the universe was his canvas. The first people were stick figures we find on cave walls. With practice the artist got better and faster. There was more detail and personality.” A dark silhouette of the Artist paints figures on a cave wall as Lulu tells the story. Panel 3: Lulu continues narrating, “The artist looked upon his creation and was happy with his work. One day while eating lunch he belched, spilling water on his drawings, imbuing the Tuvi with life. Now we no longer believe that.” Dani and Lulu sit together drawing the story as Lulu speaks; Dani glances over at Lulu with a small smile while continuing to sketch. Panel 4: Lulu says, “But it’s a nice story to tell children.” The panel zooms out to show a pen drawing the comic itself on a tablet, revealing the creation myth being illustrated as Lulu finishes her explanation.
NEW COMIC!
Creative Differences
Lulu has occasionally mentioned “The Artist” throughout the comic so I decided to expand on it. Hopefully this clears things up.

If you are at Wondercon, give Kim a visit. Her comic is funny and she is a very kind person.
I wish I could stop by and say hi. I’m very happy I got a chance to draw with you though. I hope to draw with you again some time. 😄
Hasn’t this passed? Is it still a thing? I have a feeling it’s going to bomb so hard it will outclass any of Bay’s pyrotechnics.
I have a huge backstory for them- post civil war, martians, war criminal evil scientist. Late 19th/early 20th century sci-fi. I’ll post the drawing and some other later.
I spend so much time block pure AI content producers. Mostly suspect science and history videos where the characters have little resemblance to what the narration is saying. There is absolutely zero effort. Just prompts and it vomits dumb content.
Perfect backstory. I have a couple of characters I wanted to use in a comic strip- an anthropomorphic cat and his friend a dragon raccoon. I never got it off the ground but among other drawings and a short comic I drew a cartoon of them roasting klansmen.
Charcoal and pencil sketch of a dragon in the air obliterating something on the ground with smoke and burned trees in the background
The dragons will continue until morale improves
It happened a lot to me too. Finger slips and I’m on the phone with customer service. I’ve had to convince my wife to switch to the full sized computer for the same reason.
I’m so afraid of pumps
closing I am filling up just before half a tank.
I hope Laura is recovering well.
