Two puri all puffed up from being freshly made with a yellow potato curry and a white chutney that I did not get the name of
A single set dosa on a palm leaf. It has shredded carrots on top and is made from a fermented dough
Breakfast today is more puri (seriously this stuff is amazing if you can get it fresh) with potato curry and some chutney and I tried a set dosa which is more like a pancake than other dosas:
Same goes for every "genius" academic or scholar.
A four-panel comic. In panel 1, two people are standing in the forest, wearing backpacks. The red-haired person says "I've never hiked with a naturalist before! I'm excited. I hope I brought enough water." The brown-haired person says "I'm sure you did. Let's go!" In panel 2, the brown-haired person points at various nature features. "Look, a red eft! It's the teenaged form of the Eastern Newt. Ooh, wintergreen! Wanna smell it? I hear a Chestnut-sided Warbler. Glacial till. Rubble of the last ice age!" In panel 3, the naturalist points to more nature items. "This forest seems early successional. Aw, a leafcutter bee with a piece of leaf! Wow, deer poor! Wow, fungi growing out of the deer poop!!" The red-haired person says "Okay, but..." In panel 4, the red-haired person continues, "It's been an hour and we've walked three feet." The brown-haired person exclaims, looking excited, "Three amazing feet!"
Sometimes you make a new comic, and sometimes you redraw an old one because you lost the original high res file 😅
It's so funny to me that right-wingers love to pretend to love the Middle Ages and the Crusades and all that and then complain that the Pope shouldn't get involved in politics.
We were so busy replacing all the employees with objectively worse performing AI that we forgot to ask who would buy all the software licenses.
Comic. [Crack of lightning making BOOOOM sound over dark background. On ground, there are two figures looking at it.] PERSON 1: Don’t worry, I’m wearing an anti-static wrist strap.

Thank you; my friend is very good at picking my outfits. I should let him dress me from now on. LOL
That's what I have heard multiple times and I did it! No regrets!
I have built a very unofficial penetration testing module for D&D 5e (Keys from the Golden Vault theme) and if anyone wants it please DM me, and I will send it to you!
The bride stands on the left in a green and blue sari and wears a lot of intricate gold jewelry. The mehndi on her arms is beautiful. She is wearing elaborate earrings and many bracelets on both arms. She is simply stunning; a flower come to life. I am standing in the right in a gold colored traditional wedding outfit.
Some of y'all are undoubtedly wondering about the bride, the sister of my friend, who so graciously invited me to her wedding. I finally got a picture of us together to post here.
She looks so beautiful it's hard to describe and the picture doesn't do it justice IMO:
It was so delicious!!
A plate of rice with mutton, chicken, and ladyfingers
Lunch today at the Groom's home where the bride has moved to now; once again my friend has given me a spoon even though I have eaten every single meal Indian style as he taught me. LOL
A selfie in a gold South Indian style wedding/special occasion clothing
It is beautiful here. It is summer so they are always worried about the heat. I have had to explain to a few people that I am crazy enough to enjoy Burning Man which is often this hot or hotter.
Then I have had to explain Burning Man. LOL
Three puri with three chutneys on a yellow tray
A picture of Yummy's Udupo Tiffins
We stopped for breakfast at this wonderful bakery. I had three puri with various chutneys and it was amazing.
Today has more ceremonies and then rest. Soon we will go see the sights and visit temples.
Winning campaign slogan here if anyone wants it.
Today I learned I'm worth around $60!
All joking aside this is a good thread about the market for stolen accounts and how it works:
As a real person who has spent a lot of time fundraising for my actual neighbors the scams and bots on here make it worse for everyone who is trying to do real work. If you are a leftist who believes in direct mutual aid you should be against this even if you believe the people involved are real
Well I can't wear the fancy suit everywhere! LOL
The pockets on the clothes I have been wearing (more traditional than this I promise) are different so my friend asked me to use this instead.
I told him it makes me look like a German Tourist. He laughed and told me it is okay.
A view of the lunch banquet with many kinds of food on many plates
Haleem - a special chicken dish with fried onions on top
The breading is a little different and they used a sweet and spicy onion on it.
I quite enjoyed that.
For those who might worry that I have not been enjoying the local cuisine this is the first "Western" food I have had since the 8th. I had many different types for lunch today.
A picture of me standing in front of a KFC sign in a town in India. I am wearing a green tshirt and blue jeans and a black waist pack
Of course as a Kentucky Colonel I am visiting the local KFC (the only one in this town) to see how it is (it is delicious!):
A four-panel comic of a small black fluffy cat resting on the ground. The background has soft gradient colors with a green-yellow ground and a blue to reddish sky. In the first three panels, the cat has a slightly grumpy, sleepy expression while text appears gradually: “I hope…”, “today…”, “is really…”. In the final panel, the cat suddenly looks up with very large, round eyes, and the full message reads: “really nice to you.”
It is absolutely amazing.
A picture of the sleeve of my jacket; hopefully the details show
Here's a closer view of the stitching:
Heal quickly!
It's all hand stitched silk! Absolutely amazing.
It is a good day! :-)
It is really stunning.
A selfie where I am wearing a very fancy embroidered dark blue jacket with flowers and scroll work stitched on. I am also wearing a beautiful green and pearl necklace. Not going to lie; I look amazing.
It is time for the main ceremony and I am wearing the best "fit" I think I've ever owned. Hand stitched silk!
