I just get frustrated easily with my art and then I get into slumps and don’t do anything for a while 😭

Not even doodling 😭

But I’m gonna work on something today, I desperately need to get back into my art.

Mostly silhouette paintings and I’ve been dabbling in digital art, but those are mostly just rough sketches.

Now, Yoshi does have 4 fingers.

So if we went for a theropod, the closest would be Ceratosaurus.

They also had osteoderms down their backs.

But when you put everything together, Psittacosaurus has the most real world proportions (they also had 4 fingers).

So that’s my opinion no one asked for.

Relatively short tail, big head, omnivorous and bipedal.

This makes me think of Pachycephalosaurus (there is some debate if it could have been omnivorous).

Yoshi also has a short rounded snout that is beak like with no visible teeth, short limbs and a round body.

This gives Psittacosaurus.

I’ve talked about the hybrids in the Jurassic franchise and what real life dinosaur they most resemble.

Now I wanna talk about another fictional dinosaur, Yoshi.

What real life dinosaur would be closest?

Well lets look at Yoshi’s characteristics.

If you don’t think I’m walking down the aisle to the Jurassic Park theme song then you don’t know me at all.

This will be me 100%

These streaming companies are getting out of hand with these prices and their dumbass no password sharing rules.

Honestly I’ve only been getting it when a new season of Bridgerton comes out lmao.

While this is a bit of a surprise for Asiatyrannus, it’s not that surprising for Raptorex.

As many paleontologists already believed it to be a juvenile Tarbosaurus.

This also means that Tarbosaurus had a much larger range in Asia than we previously thought.

I’m interested to see where this goes.

This paper suggests that these two are not their own species after all but rather just different growth stages of Tarbosaurus.

It appears that both Raptorex and Asiatyrannus share a lot of similarities with juvenile Tarbosaurus specimens that we have.

Sigh.

It looks like we have another Nanotyrannus situation on our hands my nuggets.

Tarbosaurus, it was a Late Cretaceous tyrannosaurid that lived in Asia.

Well a new paper came out that analyzed fossils of other tyrannosaurs that lived in the area.

Specifically Raptorex and Asiatyrannus.
