Southwest is going to do 3 things with their changes:

With free drinks, snacks, seatback entertainment so I don't have to pull out my laptop, phone, or tablet, free wi-fi, and since I'm paying for it with the work card, free airport lounge access.

Flights on the same days at similar times (we're talking within 30 minutes or so of each other) in FIRST CLASS (the only ticket option that gives me 2 free bags) on United was going to cost $588. About $121 LESS to fly in a nice wide seat.

Let's put that in perspective. That price only guarantees me priority A1-15 boarding. Not an assigned seat, no meal, no drinks, just the ticket on the plane and 2 bags. For shits and grins I checked out United Airlines.

Now if I didn't get the bags free, and chose the only option they have to get the bags free, my trip would have been $709.96.

With the 2 free bags it came out to be the lowest reasonable fair for Economy seats on the 2 airlines that fly direct from Denver to Burbank (no on counts Frontier Airlines anymore, because no one wants to fly Frontier).

Let me break it down for you.

I'm flying from Denver to Burbank in July. The flights I chose were based mostly on time of day, and with the Wanna Get Away Plus and the Early Bird Check-In (what we are supposed to buy for work travel), with taxes and fees, my flights came to $540.97.

Today I booked what are probably the last flights I'll book on Southwest Airlines for awhile. With the elimination of free bags, and many of the other things that made Southwest a great airline to fly, it just doesn't seem like it will be a practical thing anymore.

Have you ever thrown the world economy into total chaos and then fucked off to Florida to go golfing? Probably not. Sane people don't do that shit.

It's #TransDayOfVisibility, and in today's climate, I totally get it if you don't want anyone to know you are trans. But know this, I'll gladly stand in front of you if you don't want to be seen, and I'll gladly stand beside or behind you if you do.

NOTE: if your tequila is really, and I mean really fucking cold, an ice cap of lime juice will form between the tequila and the Corona. This is the "extra fun" mentioned above

3.) Carefully pour the ice cold tequila into the neck so it floats on top of the beer

4.) Squeeze the lime wedge or pour the lime juice on top of the tequila

5.) DRINK! It's basically a shot of tequila with a Corona back!

1.) BEFORE YOU OPEN THE BEER! Put salt in a sandwich zipper bag. Rub the lime wedge/wet the bottle neck with lime juice or water. Stick bottle neck in the bag of salt to "dress" your beer

2.) Open the fucking beer (carefully, you don't want it to foam up)

Baja Fog-

1 bottle super cold Corona Extra
1.5 oz (est) super cold silver/blanco tequila (we use Hornitos Plata kept in the freezer. If you have a sub-zero freezer, chill to about -14°C (6°F) for extra fun)
Lime juice (or wedge)
Salt (we use Hawaiian pink salt)
