Life is Strange: Reunion sticks the landing. The Double Exposure plot threads are a little messy and the plot beats don’t reach the heights of the series but the core Max and Chloe relationship is so well handled and acted that if this is the end they went out on a high point.
There felt like a bit of a pattern where if global costs increased Sony would pass the buck to other countries like Canada, raise the price on consoles, accessories, PS Plus. But then keep the US price steady.
So you know if they’re finally changing prices in the US that shit is serious.
Canada was dealing with this last-gen. We had the US prices at launch at then our dollar dropped enough and manufacturing costs raised enough that all consoles got more expensive after launch and then dipped back down to around their launch prices right around the time their successors launched.
They've also proven that the Time Rewind mechanic was the best adventure game mechanic this series ever did and them just going for it again feels right.
But it is hilariously couched in them just kind of handwaving why Max couldn't do it in the last game.
Max and Chloe relationship is great. I can't imagine playing this if you chose the Save Chloe ending in the original.
They've retconned the comic series but it was clearly an inspiration for what happened in the decade between.

Not a lot of people seem to be playing LiS: Reunion. The likely final game in the series (RIP Deck Nine).
They’ve dropped the episode format so it’s hard to tell how far I am.
It kind of feels like the extended missing finale episode of Double Exposure.
