As far as I can tell, Pastor Aaron Taylor works for John Hagee's Zionist group Christians United For Israel (CRUI). Basically, Aaron travels around for the Israeli government and promotes their interests.

Crossfire held an "urgent" service on Feb 22, 2026 saying the church finances were $9200 short and his own business was $500 short, and that's without Pastor Aaron getting paid. They hold 2 services each Sunday so I assume they have a fairly large congregation.

It's a sign they should close.

Personally, I'd prefer candidates to not lend legitimacy to the far-right anti-democracy Christian Nationalists.

Considering this is a TurningPoint church and the pastor is buddies with a bunch of MAGAs, he'd probably do better not attending the event. There's not much there that would benefit his campaign because a progressive candidate won't get votes at this church.

I also find it funny that the church, on a Sunday, opens their sanctuary for political campaigning events. Seems a little sacrilegious and maybe not the spirit of the "Sabbath" but whatever.

They're pretty clear that the church hierarchy is going to tell you how you need to vote.
