Lovely! When are you reopening the Etsy shop? (I am minded to commission a quilt with a couple of your stained glass panels featured, if the material they’re printed on is suitable?)

Apparently it’s
International Haiku Day.
I shall ignore it.

Loved Seuss as a child, particilarly the Horton the Elephant stories, and ‘Are You My Mother?’ which I was certain I had hallucinated when I half-remembered it as an adult - I couldn’t think where such an odd story had come from, and no one else knew what I was on about!

Is Solomon’s Seal a woodland plant, then? I always assumed that the little patch at the edge of my local woodland (West Lothian, Scotland) was a garden escapee as people sometimes dump their garden rubbish from nearby houses there.

Here’s a report on the study showing that by the time women are older, in any given cohort, their rate of baby-production has almost caught up: www.nytimes.com/2026/04/09/u...

And another study (sorry, can’t remember the source, seen recently on Bluesky tho) shows that because 35-45 yr olds are having more babies, the rates more or less catch up eventually as a particular cohort ages

Can relate - trying to come up with a poem for Beltane celebrations, and so far all I’ve managed is a slightly-forced acrostic (which will do, in a pinch, but I hope to do better).

I think it was… I remember a discussion anyway! These are lovely, but can you go any darker? I always imagined that scene was taking place at twilight, so a more ’inky’ saturated blue in the sky.

Thing I learned very recently about this - if you click on the year, or the month, sometimes it gives you a pop up list and you can go directly to the year or month you need. So why not just tell us that??!!
