We can't ignore our neglect of social and cultural commons. Malls were a facade of this, driven for profit.
We need a new paradigm. By separating competitive vs. life fitness, civic investment could vastly improve public health.
But to do this, we need to retool society itself for the least of us.
We continue a futile struggle for resources while ignoring a reimagined society. Automation and batching might eliminate 90% of our frequent trips to markets, saving more resources. Work computers in the home can use distributed computing on our off hours to reduce data center stress.
We decry exploitation of resources by data centers while ignoring the pollution of daily commutes to outdated corporate offices, where we're brainwashed to believe our job is our life and worth to mankind. We then take the stress of work demands to home or happy hour to spend off-hours destressing.
One undeniable fact of this era is that America's version of Democracy is far from a perfect solution, despite being the best governance offered to mankind until the present day. We're evolving for the better each day via STEM solutions, but our governance and society sadly lag in this evolution.
