Random thought: Howard Jones's "Like to get to know you well" sounds a bit like the Amiga game music: The Lost Patrol.

Comic book frame from an issue of 2000 A.D. The strip was "Bradley Sprogg", depicting various stylized characters interacting with Andrew Eldritch and Patricia Morrison from the band The Sisters of Mercy.
For me, I adored seeing The Sisters of Mercy appear in Bradley Sprogg around the same time :D
It looks to be the perfect game to play portable, but I've loaned my Legion Go to a pal whilst he's away from home and his gaming PC, so I might actually postpone playing it until later in the year when I go on a cruise :)
Cruachan Dam before a snow-covered mountaintop.
Side view of the dam. Hail collected at the foot of the concrete slope.
Dam centre with something looking like a valve
Entrance to the interior - up two flight of stairs in one of the buttress alcoves
Scoped out Andor’s imperial garrison (Cruachan Dam on Hollow Mountain).

Similar to UK and Europe with us "Travolta-gif"-ing during the "legendary" Videogaming crash of the 80's... an entirely US-centric event we were mostly oblivious to as the then all-indie game developers and publishers continue to publish and thrive producing games for 8 & 16-bit machines of the era.

“Le Magicien”. An original illustration made for Pascale Picard’s Le Magicien book cover. It features the side face of a young girl, eyes closed and her hair flowing in the wind. It merges with a flock of birds, from which stands out a colibri and an owl, both in gold and blue. In the bust there’s the silhouette of a Britanny’s village, with smoke coming from the chimneys and disappearing in the flock.
“Meluna”. An original illustration inspired by Siècle Vaëlban’s Plein Ciel, showing a fair maiden with pale skin, white hair and silvery eyes holding ribbons in front of a big shiny moon.
Black and white portrait inspired by Joan Fontaine in Alfred Hitchcock’s Rebecca. She’s smiling, wearing a huge hat and a ball gown. The background is black with a yellow circular shape, reminiscent of the original movie poster.
“Siobàhn d’Ombrelune”. An original illustration of my Draw Steel RPG OC (Human Talent). She’s holding her hands towards the spectator, visibly spellcasting. She has a nosebleed.
Hello #PortfolioDay ! 💛

Ipomoea is leaping forward, reaching for a star as her legs turn into wood, merging with the tree below as if in an attempt to hold her or perhaps keep her trapped. Behind her, a starry night sky is shown within a golden frame, tree branches jutting out on the outside of the frame.
Elaine is kneeling down with a hand on her chest, as the moon goddess places a sword on her shoulder to knight her. Elaine is donning her armour, a long blue cloth embroidered with stars draping around her waist and down onto the ground. The frame is comprised of a crescent moon, within which stars twinkle among the clouds. The rest of the frame is a pale gold border with branches within.
Vera is resting among a weeping willow's three branches, the leaves swaying in the wind and reflecting the moonlight. Dark swan wings unfurl from within Vera's ribcage and around her heart. A black swan is leaning down its neck towards the heart. In the background there is a peaceful lake scene with white swans, and more weeping willows in the distance.
Ryan is leaning forward, outside a painting frame, their lips close to brushing Rose's who is sitting over the frame, as their hand touches her chin. Ryan is wearing renaissance era clothing from her time, while Rose is donning a victorian gown. The frame is decorated with red roses and hawthorn flowers (the latter being a reference to Ryan's full current name, Ryan Hawthorne).

Image shows a digital drawing of a Pathfinder character. He has two different coloured eyes with one being brown and the other being a teal blue colour, his hair is dark with blue streaks, and he is summoning magic from his hands that is a bluey green colour as he readies to make an attack. He has a determined expression on his face.
Image shows a digital half body commission of a Helldivers 2 original character. He is wearing goggles with red lenses, he has pale skin with burn scars, a metal right arm, brown hair tied back in a ponytail, and he is wearing a long navy blue trench coat. There is fire particles flying around in the background and a light glow from a fire to the right hand side of him.
Image shows a digital drawing of a woman with tanned skin and some scars, brown hair tied back in a hair tie, brown eyes, and a metal prosthetic right leg. She is wearing work out clothing, sweating, and leaning against some gym equipment. There is a golden light cast upon her.
Image shows a digital drawing of my sea elf character Saoirse. She has long dark hair that turns into water at its tips and is tied up in a high ponytail. She has bluey-green skin with fish scales located on her cheeks, shoulders and thighs, and webbing along her ears and neck where she has gills. She has bright blue eyes with dark sclera and is wearing pirate/sea fairing style clothing. Saoirse is confidently standing on a rock, holding a double bladed weapon with the sea behind her. The border consists of sea themes and waves with a small scale emblem at the top and the word 'Justice' at the bottom.

That looks insanely gorgeous 😍
One of the "Old Men" of the gaming crew (I think he was 35 at the time :D ) was the envy of the hall with his 21in Sony CRT o_O
He would later sell it to me. 😂
Gaming, like t'was 2002. A LAN gaming party, held in the Scottish Highlands. Counter-Strike was the order of the day, and I think maybe Battlefield:1942. I was one of two wimminz at this glorious demonstration of gaming fun pre-broadband wide availability. Look at those case designs! #gaming
Not sure who needs to see this but...
Ali express ad targeting me for... and coffin. Next to an ad for a bodysuit and sequin shortskirt.
Sure why not.
I love it's instability 😆
I used Vibevoice to create a model of my own voice in my terrible-Southern-Belle accent character Scarlett o'Interfacè, and it will read text in that voice and accent, much to my amusement and horror :D
Seen that, haven't looked at it, now I have to :D
I have a lot of fun with VibeVoice, creating audiobooks of short stories I've made, and with an app called Alexandria, which allows you to assign different character voices to text automatically.
Yah I never had much luck with it for C64 code :D *great* for HTML tho.
Comfy is amazing, but a pain to get stuff working a lot of the time. Qwen 2509, 2512 are amazing image editing models. LTX2.3 lot of fun for video. You can also look at WANGP, which is a nice AIO of various apps in a nice interface. Pinokio is a nice sandbox with community builds/apps as well.
I like to use Ollama so that multiple apps can access the models. I also run a Gemma4 E2B on a pi5, which I set up as a Discord Bot which I have respond to in a character :D (very.. very .. slowly)
Ollama, OpenWebUi and Gemma4 are quite good, LocalAi is a good AIO solution, but I've found it to be a bit flakey.
I have a dual rtx3090 homelab I use for lots of experiments. God fun :)
If you see this, post a goth girl! 🦹🏻🧙🏻
(would need to be something very different, gameplay-wise. An explorable sandbox would be amazing. I always wanted to know what was out beyond those mountains...)
QTP - An old game you'd love to see get a remake or a brand new game
Welcome back to the Artemis II crew :) Such a huge relief watching them arrive safely!
