2026 marks 15 years working in public libraries for me. I cannot stress enough that your support and advocacy are essential in protecting these bastions of access and intellectual freedom in your communities.
Its not a hot take but man the way the word "content" is used these days. A vile bit of late stage capitalist propaganda, lumping all forms of human creativity and expression into a single wastebin teaching the public to treat all art as disposable.
This week, the world lost one of its kindest. April was a close family friend, an incredible advocate for animal rights, and a source of unending joy to the community that grew around her. If you are able, please consider helping do some good in her name.

Finally made some larger versions of a few of my prints, Whale Fall and Ashitaka prints are now available in 8.5x11” or 11x14” sizes
My situation is, mercifully, pretty well-managed. Just need to acknowledge that it exists once in a while. As doom-and-gloom as that post probably seems, I’m really just genuinely glad to have something nice to share on the horizon.
