Yeah, perhaps I'm exaggerating it, but I don't think you can say for certain they wouldn't. A lot more studios are adopting the use of generative AI for the creative process so I don't think it's as unlikely as you may think

10,000 to me means they are probably gonna start AI generating new Pokemon designs to meet these numbers. They will probably still have humans work on the most important ones like starters and legendaries, but if they want to pump the numbers, they'll probably start using AI, if they haven't already

After executing Alex Pretti on Saturday, ICE has shifted to primarily targeting bus stops and elementary schools in my community this week. I cannot overstate how much of the ICE activity in my community is just targeting places where little kids are.

What if someone made a Dispatch-style game, only you're a Duke of a great territory, and instead of civilians reporting incidents that need heroes, it's territories within the duchy that require help and you have to assign knights, or doctors, or engineers, etc. to go assist or build or whatever

Even the backstory of Robert, a man who was at his peak hitting his low point and having to start over, then meets a bunch of misfits and finds a new place to belong has a lot of parallels. TBF, it's not like that's a super unique background, but it rhymes with Jeff Winger.

I just realized that a lot of the speeches in Dispatch give big Jeff Winger vibes. I feel like the writers definitely watched Community and might have wanted to make a Jeff Winger-esque character.

I just flew back to Vancouver from Ottawa and while I was on my flight, passengers erupted during the Jay's 3-run homer. It startled me, I had to look over to see what the fuss was about lol

Star Trek: Voyager - Across the Unknown | Gameplay Reveal Trailer YouTube video by Daedalic Entertainment

Honestly, Voyager game looks like the real deal & I cannot wait.
Star Trek is a hard thing to adapt imo,as the games often don't capture the diplomacy/science led notion that the TV shows have, instead being all war, war, war.
This looks like it might do a better job if it

EA CEO’s pay is up, as EA worker median income drops Behold, the tallest chart in Game File history. PLUS: EA execs were paid (a little) more for boosting generative AI

NEW: EA CEO Andrew Wilson was paid $30.5 million in cash and stock this past year, up about $5m from a year ago

Since the U.S. requires companies to compare CEO pay to employee pay, I made an EA pay chart

To make it work, I had to make it VERY TALL

We're stoked to introduce the 'No Gen AI' seal for indie games!

Indie devs can use it on their game's store page to assure potential players that their game was made without the use of Generative AI.

You can grab it from the Polygon Treehouse website:-

MangaPlus put all of Captain Tsubasa out for free so it's the first time I'm reading it and sometimes it's so funny when you remember these are all elementary age kids.

Like this page introduces this character and I'm like, imagine a 10 year old walking down the street like that.

Heads-up for Canadians sending pkgs to U.S.:

I just got a message from Canada Post re: a pkg I am trying to send to @jilanne.bsky.social (in USA) saying "Delayed due to public authority." Did some research online; looks like I'm not the only one. Reason is likely US/Canada trade dispute. 😢

My daughter, Jasmine, a 35-year-old Canadian, attempted to enter the U.S. on March 3, 2025, with a consulting visa for a company in the States. Unfortunately, her visa was denied, and she was detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) at the San Ysidro border crossing, where she was held for three nights.

From there, she was transferred to Otay Mesa Detention Centre in San Diego and held for another three nights. On Sunday, March 9, the online tracking system indicated that she had been released. We assumed this meant she was being deported and escorted to an airport. However, 24 hours later, there was no sign of her, no communication, and we were extremely worried.

We eventually learned that about 30 people, including Jasmine, were forcibly removed from their cells at 3:00 am and transferred to the San Luis Detention Center in Arizona. They are housed together in a single concrete cell with no natural light, fluorescent lights that are never turned off, no mats, no blankets, and limited bathroom facilities.

Communication with her has been extremely sporadic, and it is only thanks to one of her close friends with contacts in the U.S. that we have been able to receive updates.

Yesterday, Austin Grabish, a reporter from ABC 10News was able to interview Jasmine. He also interviewed her friend who has been working tirelessly from Vancouver to bring Jasmine home. The story will air tomorrow, and from there, we hope other broadcasters will pick it up.

What we have learned of the ICE system and its treatment of detainees is inhumane and deeply concerning. Being detained is one thing, but there’s NO excuse for the way people are treated while in custody or for the delays in deportation. They are not criminals, and they just want to go home.

We are doing everything we can to bring Jasmine home. We are in touch with the Canadian Consulate in San Diego, but there is little they can do. A lawyer is also working on her release, but progress is slow.

I am humbly asking for your support by sharing this story widely through your networks. Jasmine is an adventurous and hard-working young woman and we desperately want her home. Thank you!

A young lady originally from Whitehorse is being detained in a detention center in Arizona. She was detained March 3rd, after her visa was denied.

Facebook post from her Mom is in the pics below. It's a disturbing sequence of events.

Do not travel to the US.
