Your choices decide your outcomes. Choosing to pick the richest potential owners with ties to men's pro sports over (also rich!) folks who are aligned with the women's space, the fanbase & the larger mission is a CHOICE. When league culture/player experience is harmed it'll be clear why.

If I'm rating, I'll go with 4 stars. The story was great, but stylistically it was hard to follow a bit.

This book was depressing, weird, and yet hopeful. It took me way too long to realize the characters were a metaphor for the region, even if this was literally said in a blurb on the inside cover

This was my book for Read Around the World for North Macedonia. Yet again I'm learning so much about a region that I unfortunately don't know enough about. Which it's a damn shame I have that knowledge gap, but I'm glad I'm filling it in now
