Montagem de um homem branco (Tom Scott) em frente ao túmulo de Margareth Thatcher com o texto I am at a vender neutral bathroom
Hoje é dia de lembrar este meme
Found this beautiful IG reel. Make of this what you will. I actually laughed a bit today.
Accidental Friends
I need you to understand that this little fucker leapt off the table, orange in mouth, and rocketed across the house with his prize, only to set it down next to the toilet and stare vacantly at it for ten minutes.
I grew up with a cat who loved cantaloupe and the olive oil from olive salad.
I don’t love being in a society where you can sell enough pillows to do meaningful damage to democracy or sell enough children’s books to do a genocide or sell enough chicken sandwiches to abolish gay marriage
That all seems like a ridiculous way to do society to me

A screenshot with a block of text: Minister: The US is now a revisionist power. For 80 years, the US was the underwriter for a system of globalisation based on UN Charter principles, multilateralism, territorial integrity, sovereign equality. It actually heralded an unprecedented and unique period of global prosperity and peace. Of course there were exceptions. And of course, the Cold War was still in effect for at least half of the last 80 years. But generally, for those of us who were non-communists, who ran open economies, who provided first world infrastructure, together with a hardworking disciplined people, we had unprecedented opportunities. The story of Singapore, with a per capita GDP of 500 US dollars in 1965. Now, lit is| somewhere between 80,000 to 90,000 US dollars. It would not have happened if it had not been for this unprecedented period, basically Pax Americana and then turbocharged by the reform and opening of China for decades. It has been unprecedented. It has been great for many of us. In fact, I will say, for all of us, if you look back 80 years. But now, whether you like it or not, objectively, this period has ended. There is no point trying to assign blame or pejorative adjectives. That is not helpful. Basically, the underwriter of this world order has now become a revisionist power, and some people would even say a disruptor. But the larger point is that the erosion of norms, processes, and institutions that underpinned a remarkable period of peace and prosperity; that foundation has gone. What you are seeing now, whether you watch the war in Ukraine, in the Middle East or elsewhere, including in Asia, to me these are symptoms of the underlying tectonic rupture. Big powers and even lesser powers have a more narrow definition of national interest.
This is quite something from Singapore's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Vivian Balakrishnan, in an interview with Reuters. The end of the post-war order, diagnosed in technocratic language. www.mfa.gov.sg/newsroom/pre...
THIS is the size of a Mango Lassi at a nearby Goan restaurant that some tourists found and shared with me. ( @snipe.lol already drank around 1/3 of it!!!!)

Recently a friend got on some new meds that made them much more chilled out, but to the point that they're procrastinating tedious and boring (but important) tasks, and it made me think about how much of my productivity is just white hot free-floating anxiety.
it probably isn't helping anyone's mental state that the news every morning is like "Things Have Gotten Much Worse Again! Further, No Sign of Anyone Attempting to Stop It" great thanks
sempre me perguntei qual era o critério pro posicionamento das estrelas na bandeira, estou em choque com essa thread incrível
God will never give you more than you can handle, unless you were born in the wrong place or don't have money. That makes god super mad.

Object permanence is a lie. Mommy and I are the same person. Uncle Fred has my nose.
> unlearning it through a series of chaos magic style usages of naming, drugs, ritual, become, etc
I think that it's great how we all suddenly became capable of completely and precisely specifying software systems in natural languages after 7 decades of failing miserably at it.
This is hilarious.
Also, completely enraging.

everything great comes from being able to delay gratification for as long as possible
and it feels like we're collectively losing our ability to do that
It’s actually FEWER Misérables
I would argue they knew exactly what they were doing, which was deliberately sabotaging needed public works programs by offering snake oil they never had any intention of delivering.
The biggest danger of adopting an AI-centered app development workflow isn't security, performance, or code quality. It's what I've started calling "feature slop". When a feature cost $20k to build, we spent a whole lot of time considering whether it was the right solution to the problem.
“generic” is short for “generative Eric”
I'm not saying Portugal's politics are perfect by any means, but I am saying there's a huge official billboard in the center of Lisbon right now that reads "THE COMMUNIST PARTY SUPPORTS A FREE AND SOVEREIGN PALESTINE," and I just don't think that would be possible in any part of the USA
