It would have been great to have this a year ago when I was trying to play Dragon Quest V (DS) because it's one of the few games that actually needed a top-bottom screen layout.

Reminds me of the time before the Kingdom Hearts remixes, when I was only able to play less than half of the games and had to watch cutscene compilations on youtube.

It sucks when an overwhelming majority of the games I play are JRPGs and VNs that can run on a low-end PC, but then there are maybe 2 games every year that I really want that just can't run on my current PC.

I already played the game with my current PC, but my specs are closer to minimum than recommended.

My bottleneck is with my graphics card. It's a laptop, so I'm unable to just switch out that part.

Would it be stupid if I just show it to a computer shop staff, and ask if they have a pre-built PC for it?

I really don't understand how PC part compatibility works, and honestly prefer not to risk getting wrong parts that cost as much as a month's worth of food.

I played Hades II and Builders II on the Steam Deck. But for cozy games like Touhou Mystia and Legends ZA, I prefer playing them on the Switch.

Not really sure if there's something that would make me buy a Switch 2, and not settle for Switch 1 despite lower performance.

Not really prioritizing graphics and performance. I played Touhou Mystia's Izakaya, Tinykin, and other VNs on the Switch, even though I have them on PC, just because it's more comfortable / convenient there.

how much of a genre do I need to consume until I'm able to fully understand a genre deconstruction?

I've seen people talking about Konosuba as a genre deconstruction of isekai and fantasy tropes. I enjoyed it a lot, but apparently there are nuances that I didn't understand...?

There are multiple times that a game or a show goes mainstream because it's unique or a fresh idea, but I personally know that it's already been done before, maybe even a decade or two ago.

I usually use Paint to manually convert each image. There are online converters that could do multiple images at a time, but have daily limits.
