Doki Doki Literature Club is a widely celebrated piece of videogame art, discusses deeply difficult topics in sincere and meaningful ways, and Google Play needs to revert the removal of the game immediately.

This is the plot of 2001 a space Odyssey (among other things), if I remember correctly.

Gonna take this opportunity to say that I can personally deliver no script for as little as 7 million, and I know some other writers who can do it for as little as five million.

Kurt Vonnegut tells his wife he's going out to buy an envelope:
"Oh, she says, well, you're not a poor man.
You know, why don't you go online and buy a hundred envelopes and put them in the closet?
And so I pretend not to hear her. And go out to get an envelope because I'm going to have a hell of a good time in the process of buying one envelope.
I meet a lot of people. And see some great looking babies. And a fire engine goes by.
And I give them the thumbs up. And I'll ask a woman what kind of dog that is. And, and I don't know. The moral of the story is — we're here on Earth to fart around
And, of course, the computers will do us out of that. And what the computer people don't realize, or they don't care, is we're dancing animals. You know, we love to move around.
And it's like we're not supposed to dance at all anymore."

It was sooo good! Incredible acting and storyboarding that communicates so much with so little dialogue. Also, immaculate vibes. (Tokyo has so many pretty public toilets, I am impressed.)

With almost the entire Western system of suppression against Palestinian stories working against him, Rasheed has still managed to bring Dreams on a Pillow to 75% of the campaign goal with two weeks left. Please don't let this dream fail in the last stretch.

Very good writeup on a very good game. I Was A Teenage Exocolonist really touched me back when I played it, and I still think back on it frequently. Imo, this article articulates what is so good about it well.

Review | ‘Mouthwashing’: A repugnant, tragic play that wants to hurt you ‘Mouthwashing,’ a brief but brutal video game from studio Wrong Organ, is a sci-fi horror fable about men swaddled in narcissistic delusions.

my interview and review of Mouthwashing is probably the best piece i’ve written in a few years. here’s a gift link.

the game is a message to “certain people in the games industry. I hope they see themselves in it.

And I hope it hurts. I hope it hurts, hurts, hurts.”

THRESHOLD on Steam In a lonely station atop a mountain, a train rumbles its precious cargo to places unknown. Now is your shift. Keep the pace. Uncover a mystery. Fight for your last breath. The air is thin up here.

If I stopped pestering you around with Pathologic, it's because I made a game based on the same principles as an ultimate form of advertisement for it.

I love Miro so much! I feel like I finally have some sort of control over all the puzzle locations and the flow of the game. I tend to only work on paper with these things, but aw man, this was NEEDED! So many improvements from prior!
