Realized I never posted this here but… life hasn’t been kind each year and this one has been one of my worst. I hate to ask but… if you can help it’d be greatly appreciated and nice to eat something 🙏🥹

a meta April's Fool joke would be to just text your friend a ominous "Happy April Fools' Day" and wait for them to spiral trying to figure out what you might have done 🤷
I mean, it should be the reverse. "Dm me to repost".It is literally a copyright violation to republish someones work without their consent. Like report copyright violation, don't DM them. The internet is just super wishy washy with copyright
Made a bunch of Bruce Timm studies/notes a while back. Let me know if you want me to send those your way to look over :)
this looks amazing! seriously love the texture!
Карандашный рисунок пяти мультяшных персонажей, четверо из которых убегают от убийцы, остающегося за кадром. Пятый персонаж - девушка с безумными глазами - просто наблюдает за происходящим.
Horror run. Something's going on on that rp forum...

hey thank you so much 😀
thank you! yeah it was a fun design! 😀
hey thank you :D Hope I get around to make a proper piece with her some day. Probably one of my favorite designs from the show
Helen Lovejoy - The Simpsons
Figure I'll never finish this one, so might as well post it. Scrap sketch of Helen Lovejoy. Never could, or had the energy to, figure out her hair
Yeah I'd probably look into that again. Like if you have a frame of reference of what you think is good, then it's probably easier for you to parse where you fall short, and figure out what you need to improve
Yeah figured that might be the most convenient place, i'll look into it
Remebered that I recorded the pencil stage, and color sketch for this piece. Where would be the most convenient place to upload something like that?
It's like ~2h raw, haven't decided if I should speed that up or no
have you tried doing composition studies? Like looking at pieces that you think has good depth and try to break that down and recreate it?
it's you! The one stoked about my old Leshawna art! Haha thank you so much dude, happy you found your way here ✌️
Depending on what you mean by depth, there are lot's of ways to get depth in a piece without using perspective:
Through overlapping objects, through value difference, through lighting, through line thickness, through blur and other camera trickery.
There are periods, like a couple of months each year, where I can focus on a certain subject, and I do that instead of the normal artwork I would do.
But a few times a month I do figure drawings as warm up
Artists, show your most popular work!
Still this one, because @ /viceandviolence.bsky.social reposted it
really really beautiful gesture and flow to this piece 😍
Charlotte is looking amazing in your style 😍
wow, seriously adore this piece! Loove the style
Another commission for @masterbluj.bsky.social
Thanks again!
I mean if it's only secondary storage I don't see the point of getting a SSD, unless very fast connections are vital to your operations. That said, regular HDD prices are unfortunately also going up . Needed to replace a drive recently, same make and model, 30-40% more expensive across the board 🫤
heyhey, that's so wild, I have a distinct memory we got on bksy at the same time😅 But stoked to see you again 🫶
hey thank you so much! that means a lot to hear 💚 I had a lot of fun with them
beautiful proportions on this one!
I dislike that you validate some prejudice notions I had that always put me off anime 😅 So many shows and movies I've encountered had a type of horny-ness that either made me uncomfortable, or stopped me from buying into the story/world
ah okay, yeah 98% of the time I work from/with some manner of photo reference, so it's already worked out for me how the head and torso will relate. I "just" need to understand and stylize the pose. I do resize and reorient stuff a lot though in the early stages of a drawing
Huh, interesting. In a way I can get that it's easier placing all other body parts in relation to the largest mass, rather than placing the largest mass in relation to the head.
Academically, starting with the head is fairly common practice. Can't recall any traditional instructor I've come across that have had a different approach. And probably for good reason, like as a viewer you focus more on the head and the expression
