THRILLED to announce the Portland premiere. Bringing the film to Oregon where we shot it!

But I see that criticism and I want to go "That's what drama IS! That's what it has ALWAYS been!"

Maybe the vocabulary is different. The word "trauma" gets used more, but that reflects the current world.

Ebert said, "Film is an empathy machine." What are we without empathy?
