Evidently, the lad turned out not to be a serial killer nor did he have any spare extremities. Somewhat disappointing after all this ridiculous buildup. 😉 Potentially a decent fit for us, but couldn’t stick it out the entire night, he left at 11:30!
I despair slightly.

Supposed to have a potential new colleague with me tomorrow night, show them what we do etc etc, see if they like it.

Everybody is so flamin’ shifty about this person, I cannot but assume they’ve either got 2 heads and 3 arms or they’re a serial killer.

After quietly but with difficulty swallowing down a reaction to interpersonal cruelty earlier on, receiving a quirky and hilariously funny message from a friend just now has been very uplifting.

While we have been cleared of being even remotely involved - not before accusations started flying around based on cowards needing a scapegoat - the tragedy, in even more shockingly gruesome news, remains unsolved.

A complete lack of appreciation plus wilful ignorance of an entire department’s job has led to a day of extreme challenges, a terrible tragedy almost being blamed on innocent people and me thinking my job was lost to a system that values titles and entitlement more than the truth. I feel sick. 1/2

Might have to read up on the monkey properly now because honestly, I am only vaguely aware of it and don’t know about any details.
