Genuinely inspiring (I'm now keen, for instance, to buy one of those knives he mentions just to support the idea) from @peterhyman.bsky.social

Apparently this was Keir Starmer's prioritisation of his goals in government (top priority at the top). From @peterhyman.bsky.social's account of their early strategy meetings.

Good to see Tony Benn’s 5 Tests of Democracy in here, from @peterhyman.bsky.social - an invaluable point of reference which I endeavour to keep top of mind. Try applying them in context of this week’s events, for example.
Great opportunity here to work on policy and politics and make a real difference. @labourtogether.bsky.social

Shuab is in sparkling form - a great podcast.
This is such an insightful post from @peterhyman.bsky.social. It’s amazing how uninterested so many in government seem to be in getting from A to B or even in what B is. A rare exception was Shabana Mahmood’s sentencing reforms open.substack.com/pub/peterhym...

A fascinating report this, interesting that one of the reasons young people spend so much time online is the lack of alternatives.
The report says there's a need to fund spaces for young people to meet. There's a yearning to do more in person.
Ideally, for me, physical activity and sport spaces.

Notable in today's YouGov that the centre/left bloc - Lab/Green/LD/SNP are on 54%. With Reform/Tories on 43%. That's the biggest differential in a long time.
I think useful to track blocs given instability between parties at the moment.

Good ideas in this, and Peter right to say there's nothing to lose - crucially trying different things out is needed to find what works authentically for you even if it's not your comfort zone comms wise.
