We're 8 months from the 2026 midterms, and everything is changing.
Districts have been redrawn. Congress is still debating new Voter ID laws. And most people have no idea who's even running in their district.
Whosmyrep is trying to change that. 🧵

WHY are news stations reading DHS statements out loud as if they have ANY credibility at all? They literally murdered a woman in cold blood LAST WEEK and are still lying about what happened, even though we can see what happened. That any credibility would be given to their statement is insane
These are mobsters threatening an extortion scheme.
Might be a tad bit late once the U.S. has attacked a NATO ally.
The War Powers Resolution is notable because it provides the *minority* a mechanism for forcing votes on unauthorized military actions.
Senator Tillis is in the majority which has many more tools available—and available now.
Read the Dekleptocracy substack: "When a phantom foundation with no address, no registration and a founder who might not exist, wires $100 million to the president's crypto company, America has a problem"

Feel like I’m going insane with the revisionist history that Charlie Kirk fostered open debate. He chilled speech and his targeting of professors for wrongthink led to threats, harassment, and being forced out of their jobs. His legacy is chilling speech right now, about him
I know professors personally who have had their lives destroyed by being doxxed by the Professor Watchlist organized by Turning Point USA, for saying the "wrong thing" in class one time. I will not celebrate violence but I also will not pretend this is "practicing politics the right way."
California's lawyer explains why any criminal referrals for Posse Comitatus Act violations would be an unworkable remedy — they woudl go to the same Justice Department defending those actions.
"We['d be] asking the federal government to police themselves, and that raises federalism problems."
California's Deputy Attorney General Meghan Strong says the government's arguments that there's no civil remedy for Posse Comitatus Act violations "defies basic principles of federalism."
California Deputy AG:
"What James Madison would have done and what he did was he drafted a Constitution that would not allow the President to deploy standing armies... as a king had" before the Constitution's ratification in 1788.
The Secretary of Defense posted a video calling for a repeal of women’s right to vote.
When they tell you who they are, BELIEVE THEM.
And vote accordingly.
The owner of Twitter sends out 100 right wing propaganda tweets every single day and the algorithm is set up so that every single person on Twitter has to see every single one of these tweets. Now here’s another piece about Blue Sky’s ideological diversity problem.
Trump is slowly figuring out that it was the Koch operation that chose, and is served by, “his” Supreme Court nominees, and that “his” people Leo and McGahn were really working for the polluter billionaires.
Let’s review the history. 🧵
When scholars of authoritarianism and fascism leave U.S. universities because of the deteriorating political situation here, we should really worry.
In Invisible Rulers I wrote ab content that is a perfect fit not for *the human audience*, but for *the algorithmic intersection with the human audience* -- and creators who target that sweet spot bc of massive $$$ potential.
AI makes it a whole lot easier.

Here is the takeaway: the party in power used decontextualized emails and made-up theories to dismantle state capacity to track foreign interference. It now wants to shut down First Amendment protected research that threatens its power in any way.
That is the censorship.
And even worse, it used the preliminary legal injunction of Murthy vs Missouri to support its argument, but ignored the actual outcome, which contradicted it; ie, the Supreme Court ruling, and Justice Barrett’s actual argument supporting that ruling.
GPT-4.5 also pretends it didn’t happen. When asked whether CISA engaged in censorship, it mentions “legal rulings and congressional reports.” After an hour of prompting into these “legal rulings”, it admits there was zero censorship.

Musk and Trump could not possibly be sending a clearer signal that the Tesla protests are working than this pathetic stunt today.
Is it a coincidence that the German election’s most viral post on Musk’s X this month is the one from Weidel mentioning J.D. Vance’s removal of the German political firewall (to allow AfD)? 19M views. (40% of her monthly as of 2/19).
Those are the most viral tweets of all German election candidates in February. More here: open.substack.com/pub/disinfos...
Some data points from Twitter to support this.
A post from Weidel (AfD) mentioning J.D. Vance’s speech about the removal of the German political firewall to allow AfD in power racked up 19M views on Musk’s X. Coincidence?
A little bit of Twitter journalism ahead of the German elections.

@deanruskintlaw.bsky.social as the preeminent institution training future legal professionals in Georgia, what are your thoughts on your congressman’s retweeting of the statement “He who saves his Country does not violate any Law”? This is an important time to take a stand.
He also retweeted this garbage today.
