Although I'm not as proud an AI Luddite as I used to be, sadly, as I am vibe-coding the website for the motif-index that will also be born out of this instead of learning front end from scratch. I tried though.

Reason One being, of course, that the visual grammar of sequential art is heavily context- and culture-determined (Neil Cohn has plenty on this!), and AI can not be fully integrated into a natural context. At least as of now.
In the meantime, the GRC looms and I keep polishing up my PhD. It is currently just over 50 pieces of sequential art (judging zines and strips collections a peace each) that I have been manually coding thematically page by page, because QDA AI is terrible in interpreting visual data for Reasons.

The latest thing I did after I've almost quit drawing for good. Initially I wanted to sketch some of my OCs, but then I remembered a local Galway ghost story. And that sent me thinking - what if ghosts could see each other?

Honestly, I think this is the best drawing of mine so far (Tumblr seems to agree btw). Also while I was researching the details for it I learned that in the 17th century, wallpaper was puzzled together from square pre-printed paper tiles combined ad libitum.
