The Liberal government just voted down Bill C-233, which would have regulated arms exports to the United States, including those that are resold to Israel.

They opposed the bill because they are afraid of upsetting their masters in Washington.

Managing these vast watersheds requires local expertise, not a watered-down system of arbitrary rules with no connection to local knowledge or local needs.
