I’m a teacher and had a kid say he didn’t want to eat his sandwich as it has sand in it. I told him I thought it was named after the Earl of Sandwich and had no sand or witches in… but where does the word Sandwich come from?!

As a teacher, we still teach you should ask a person before you take their photo, and if someone doesn’t like a photo you took and asks you to delete it, you do.

Today I went to visit a school because I have only seen one school in this country and it is a small independent school (which is on holiday already). It was a joy to see the public school system and students so happy and proud. I’m just a teacher geek. Don’t judge me!
