I deleted it because it upset people, not because I was shamed, but it did not equate working for Valnet to being a Nazi. It did say "fascism is here now, and you're already doing whatever you would do under fascism."

Criticism is fine. I'm all for criticism. Slurs and death threats aren't.

Not at all what I said. What I said was "people like to imagine what they would be capable of heroism in bad situations but if you can't even boycott a game, why would anyone believe you could be a hero?"

Reviews are opinions, man. There's no such thing as objective criticism. I'm sorry you didn't like the score, but it’s far from a bad one on IGN'S scale (a 6 means "we would recommend with caveats"), but I absolutely did my job. I am not obligated to match the average score. Not how this works.

Maybe! I also think the stuff with the Shrews (which is really dark and has some nasty historical parallels) and the overall tone (which is super heavy or noir tropes that are mostly played straight) clashes with "cartoon boomer shooter."

It's cool if that works for folks. The response is bonkers.
