Private equity ruins everything. Glad I recently started making my own bagels. It’s really much less trouble than you’d think.

I’m not advocating for more data centers to keep VCs pushing for AI bullshit, but I will note that golf courses use about 30 times the amount of water in the US than data centers. Just sayin’.

Hard to disagree with that statement. Lock him up!
I don’t quite understand how someone under a multi-year contract “quits”.
If this is somehow legal, why the fuck has all this been happening?

Uhm…what?
It may be that the setup of the venue doesn’t allow for the proper shots. Someone who was there was talking about how the suites block certain camera placement and the venue sound system being terrible. Could also explain the “what” chants at Swerve.
I wonder if the crowd noise was being mixed differently. It seemed better later in the show but seemed oddly quiet for a lot of the beginning.
I can’t possibly imagine that this would ever be abused.

I’m glad to hear you say that.
Because politics are ugly and Melanie Shekita is an asset to this community. Just sayin’. People have been run out before.
Seems like they’re talking about cover bands. In that scenario, I wouldn’t see it as much different than an auto generated playlist based on tempo and instrumentation, which can be pretty good sometimes. Probably way less fun for the band though, which I think is the point of being in a cover band.
Then don’t fire one of your best because they got into the race before you.
This will undoubtedly make Anthropic the A.i. company of choice around the world aka “The Colbert/Kimmel Effect”.
Anthropic’s demands are 1) not using their software to surveil Americans and 2) not kill some one where there is no human involved in the decision. THESE ARE THINGS THAT THE D.O.D. SAYS THEY WON’T DO ANYWAY. Yet they apparently don’t like not having the option?

Riho needs to sue for gimmick infringement. I’m sure Taz has a lawyer he can recommend.
Sounds like pretty clear messaging to me.

Why do billionaires even care about taxes? Once you’ve got a billion dollars, how many more millions or billions you have is irrelevant to your quality of life.

Amazing that a company can pay its employees well, give them benefits, not be obsessed with unsustainable quarter-over-quarter growth, and still somehow be successful in the shitty end of late-stage American capitalism.
What does that even mean?
