Yes, we managed to transfer the tickets to the next day and we borrowed a car for the time being.
Currently waiting for a refund from insurance to put towards something else, an absolute nightmare, but we had a good time yesterday regardless

I adore handmade gifts, the thought and effort gone into them means so much to me, but others sadly don't feel the same way.
I was always a little cautious about handmade gifts but you're right, she would probably appreciate it. And if she doesn't, I don't have to see her again soo...🤣
Its for her teachers end of year gift, it's a different teacher to before, but that doesn't counter the thoughts of "why bother" you know? Some people see handmade gifts as a cop-out, not everyone, of course, but if the dog bites you don't go on to stroke it again, you know?

I was going to crochet a nice sunflower shopping bag and line it with a bee themed fabric but my kids teacher, the year before last, snubbed the basket I spent a week making and filling with goodies, so now I don't know if I want to put the effort in tbh.
