I keep gently trying to convince him to look at the label again but he just keeps showing me the top price. I finally have to drop my customer service voice and firmly tell the man, "SIR, MOVE YOUR THUMB!" he does so and just says "oh" and walks away. Complete waste of my time. 3/3

We have this "Gentleman" get irate because he didn't get the sale price. I assure him he did as long as he has his membership card. He just continues to argue for 15 minutes flapping his meat bundle around pointing at the top price. 2/3

Worked at a meat and seafood counter for a particular evil grocery corporation that I shan't name. We always have the "standard" price at the top of our tags and the discounted "membership" price at the bottom. A source of endless angst because people always tunnel vision on the top number. 1/2
