As the main textbook, I chose "Data Analysis for Social Science" by @ellaudet.bsky.social and Kosuke Imai. I loved how this book introduced topics like causal inference and included accessible R code, with probability and statistics saved for the end.

I'm looking for someone based in Boston to spend a day copying some manuscripts for me at the Boston Athenaeum. I can pay well. Bonus points if you've researched at the BA before, and you are neat and detail oriented. Thanks! 🗃️
I was so excited to see these data released that I wrote a short blog post showing how to get started in #RStats: rworks.dev/posts/anes20...
Many thanks to @statsteph.bsky.social and Rebecca Powell for their review and feedback💙

My lab is going to be imminently looking for a computer scientist or a biologist with deep understanding of R to develop and give bioinformatic education to postdocs. This is perfect for someone who likes teaching. You'd need to be in the Pittsburgh area. Feel free to reach out with questions.
Finished updating syllabus and lecture slides for my intro undergrad course on applied stats and R.
