Het is niet eenvoudig onder woorden te brengen wat een vluchteling die zijn thuisland moet verlaten moet doorstaan. 4,5 jaar na de val van Kabul heeft het AD het verhaal van enkele van "onze" Afghanen op schrift gezet.
