Display names mean nothing particularly if the artist's display name is super common. If you just say "haru" or whatever for the artist name guess what, there's 302093 artists who go by that!

I'm not one of those people who will lynch you for posting a twitter link or still using twitter - I get it, many artists from Asia still use it.

But ffs don't post a twimg link and the *display* name to get around servers' Twitter link bans - post the image directly and give the @ *user* name!

Unhappy to report the phishing one is quickly becoming a real problem now. Why go to the trouble of social engineering when people will just give up their ID, financial info, biometrics, etc. to an AV portal? There's no standards so how can you differentiate a fake one from a real one?

Tying this to national id also makes it de facto punishment and discrimination against migrants.

Imagine being of irregular status and trying to seem asylum but you can't even access the Internet to look anything up or contact anyone. This is what this means. This is an intended feature.
