It was cool this morning to see a pretty decent sized protest in my seemingly very conservative small FL town.

My fiancée just picked up her to-go box from dinner and remarked: "Oh wow, this is heavy. @brennanleemulligan.bsky.social would probably love this!" 🤣
Ok, but what happens once omniroll is added to the list?
Two of the players in one of my first regular groups were dating. When they broke up, it pretty much killed that group.
Thanks, I appreciate that!
Honestly, that's one of my favorite parts of GMing. My players can do the hard part of coming up with concepts, and then I can just help them make it 🤣
I'm a programmer irl and every time I'm a player in a sci-fi game, I always end up unintentionally making some kind of hacker / techie.
I once had a player do an innocent and shy goliath who just wanted to play his flute and spend time with his friends, still one of my favorite characters and players I've ever had in a game
If we're going to be living in a dystopia ruled by megacorps anyway, I want to at least be a badass with sword arms
In case you missed it.

I got a lot of joy today watching people continue to repost this every time reddit took it down
My partner grew up only ever having margarine, it wasn't until we started dating that she had real butter and was similarly surprised by how much better it was
I've been running some public one-shots recently, which has been fun, but I really want to get a campaign together. It's been so long since I've had anything last more than a handful of sessions.
#TTRPGs #GMlife
Not sure if I'm more excited for the #StarsWithoutNumber or the #RollForShoes one-shot I'm running next month.
#TTRPGs
I loved Sunset Overdrive!
Tonight was a good night for chili!
Found a group for a Stats Without Number game for the first time in a while. Just a one-shot, but still excited. It's gonna be a long week!
I dont understand the hate on non "old-school d&d" systems. To me, one of the best parts of #ttrpgs is the variety.
My gf has been asking for these loop earplugs that are noise canceling without any battery. With how loud her family gets, I could probably use a pair too.
My kind of Thanksgiving!
People call Thanksgiving "turkey day" but imo turkey isn't the best of the Thanksgiving foods.
Happy stuffing topped with gravy day!
Although one of my other favorite systems would fall under that (fantasy flight games star wars), I'm actually taking stars without number and its siblings
I like that idea! I could see it work even better in a classless system where you build your character out of various features that you can buy with bigger, more powerful features costing more.
Like point buy for leveling up? So mechanically weaker classes are balanced by gaining points to level up sooner with? That's a pretty interesting idea!
Ive never used roll20 to find games, but I could definitely see why that would be hard. I would check out meetup for local games or rpg related discord servers for lfg channels. Either way, I wish you luck!
I'm a big fan of the various Without Number systems. I think the systems themselves are very well designed and flexible, but the best parts are always the top teir gm tools that make my job so much easier.
Don't give up hope! Check if your local game store runs any games, look to see if there's a local guild near you, and if all else fails, you should always be able to find an online game!
Following specifically for the #catpics lol
Wonderdraft / Dungeondraft are my go to, that being said since I've moved to running scifi games I usually just use other peoples maps
