🚨 You guys, this show ROCKS. Like, vampires fly all over the stage while singing. There are tons of mind-blowing special effects. There’s a coming-out ballad. And it stars Shoshana Bean.

The second I walk in the door to visit my nieces I have to read them every book on their shelves. Love them so much. 💕

Would love to see more cool side projects like this in major AAA franchises. it was great to play a new God of War game in this style that fit right in with Kratos’ overall story.

It also reaaally made me want to replay all the God of War games again. Mission accomplished!

GOD OF WAR: SONS OF SPARTA
At first, I thought this was a little unpolished and listless, but as with any good Metroidvania, once I started learning new abilities (double jump!) it all clicked. The voice acting, satisfying progression and moving ending turned this into a pleasant surprise.

One of my favorite parts of seeing Mario this weekend was the look on my non-gamer husband’s face when he asked me what happened to the yellow Luma and I had to explain to him how in the games the end goal of all Lumas is to sacrifice their lives to transform into a warp star.

He was horrified.

I should try that.

Listen, it’s impossible for me to be objective about this one. I wore a Bullet Bill shirt to the theater, for crying out loud. The movie is basically 90 minutes of key jingling. But when that Star Fox music kicked in I was staring at those keys with a huge smile on my face. 🤷🏼‍♂️
