no, it's the Kaiserschnitt Handkerchiefs
it would be irresponsible to advise them to do it bsky.app/profile/rich...

the counter factual is if someone prioritises signing him at the start of the summer instead of fucking around for months and getting him unfit without a proper pre-season. either way the point partly stands - went for the cheaper (but not even cheap) option and he wasn't good enough
honestly think the most important change Arteta made was dropping Gyokeres. Just not good enough. Should have gone for Isak
I think that's harsh on the first goal. obviously Nunes beats him but I wouldn't exactly say Eze lost him. By the time the ball drops to Nunes Eze is on him. it's the challenge that's poor. But there's so much more for Cherki still to do
Oceans are now battlefields
sure. so given that you were at Brecht house my thought was Meine Bar Ici or Hackbarth’s, both on Auguststraße, or Böse Buben Bar on Marienstraße
Do you want a bar recommendation for later?
He said that? F me he is a moron
As a fellow new-ish dad let me recommend the Patrick O’Brien (Master and Commander, etc) novels to get you into the spirit. Very dad-coded
Do you think that was true, or might he have been joking?
If he’s looking for an 11th-hour great escape job, he’s got more chance of success back at Spurs
What contemporary football fans seem to crave more than even winning is a feeling of righteousness.
surprised you say this, I thought he was very good.
a curse upon loud typers in the library
What do people actually think Nelson Mandela and Gandhi were demanding, vis-a-vis the South African and British governments, respectively?
Because it wasn't demilitarized quasi-autonomous economic enterprise zones under foreign security supervision.
His fault ultimately, but also Nunes put him in a bad position with that pass
Is the title race now over, following City’s/Arsenal’s win on Sunday?
The one that prompted that was an all timer
I'm not against every element of 'YIMBY'ism, (though most of its advocates leave out extremely important policies necessary to control housing costs beyond increasing supply), but in my experience without fail everyone with 'YIMBY' in their bio on social media is a prick
😂
“I” in this instance - should have said “one” /“ “aperson”
Meaning that, if they can still manage to live there (eg because they are in social housing), they can’t buy the food they are used to in the neighbourhood they’ve lived for a long time. You can say that’s a price worth paying and you presumably would. But have th intellectual honesty not to deny it
I’m not mad, I’m trying to have a nuanced conversation, which appears to be beyond you. As neighbourhoods change through gentrification it is most certainly the case that shops which catered to, often poorer, ethnic minorities, selling foodstuffs they traditionally consume, are priced out
Knock yourself out m8
I think you’re having an argument with someone that isn’t me
‘disposable income’ might not be the best framing when talking about buying food staples that I would have all the time but probably aren’t available in the neighbourhood anymore
Sure, I recognise that. Just not sure why one is shopping for “lunar new year” as opposed to eg buying the staples that one has with virtually every meal.
