Scottish democracy?

Well done Plaid!
Great to see both cheeks of the same arse got a splendid Welsh spanking!
Lab & Tory combined an embarrassing 13% of the vote!

Problem is and always has been the Labour Party, really. They’re the big Party that should be behind democratising the country.

They’ve only just realised this now?! Where have they been? (Cough) self interest!

@felicityhannah.bsky.social
So lovely to go to bed with you last night tbh I’m more used to waking up with you!

Still the usual brilliant presentation (& perfect diction!)

Agreed & does Labour really think that having a “we-can-wave-more-flags-than-you” contest with Reform is right?
How about explaining that only 5% of immigration is illegal & is NOT screwing up our economy & also that it’s Brexit (the Lab ‘B’ word) doing the screwing, costing us £32b every year!

Can someone suggest to Bridget Phillipson that if the “poles are just a snapshot in time” that also applies to the 23/6/2016 Brexit disaster!

If he was genuinely interested in ‘fixing the foundations’ perhaps he should start with our undemocratic democracy?!

Delighted that the 10 minute bill for PR passed today in the Commons by 138:136
However by my maths that means 376 MPs didn’t vote!
I’m sure some were doing important Government jobs but what were the others doing? Golfing, Barristering, Boozing? I’d love to know…

Much as I disagree with Biden being able to pardon his son, Trump having the nerve in describing it a ‘miscarriage of justice’ is world champion level pot, kettle & black!

Proof that neither Trump nor Starmer had a ‘landslide’!

Listening to Andy Burnham on any questions, Labour (twice!) lost a good leader there. Maybe his time will come again? Then and only then (as PR is my red line) if Labour were really interested in representative democracy would I tick their box.

Agreed. However re ‘coercion’ we are talking about people with a maximum of 6 months to live.

Well done MPs, my faith is slightly restored in Parliament after today’s debate, vote & result!

Come on MPs, tomorrow is NOT a choice between better palliative care & shortening awful, painful, inevitable deaths. We should be able to have both.

Please remember you are representing your constituents (63% in favour in England & Wales) and NOT your own personal/ religious beliefs.
