world’s cutest animal crawls towards your head
animal extends both arms towards your face that it is touching (face and paw contact offscreen)
POV: the creature simply must touch your face with both hands
i had to drag myself kicking and screaming through the initial draft of my heavily plotted first novel so when i started my second a few weeks ago i thought, what the hell, let’s wing it! and turns out i’m having So more much fun. coming to terms with the fact that i might be…. a pantser

it’s easy to get all doom and gloom about the state of the game industry while looking for work, but on the bright side i have a Lot of free time for the queer dark fantasy novel about wizard grad students on an archaeological dig i just started writing
yeah i relax jeans on + dogs out. what of it
David Lynch's passing calls me to recall "The Perfect Drug," written for Lynch's Lost Highway, a personal NIN fave, though I'd not ever seen the video for it, it's amazing in a real "More goth, no, more goth than that, what part of 'more goth' do you not understand" sort of way

Me? Yeah, you could say I'm bit of a gamester

just spent actual money on a ringtone for the first time since high school (yes it was the cleric beast theme from bloodborne)
2024 was a big year of a lot of important firsts for me but I think the most impactful one was my first time on a genuinely huge rollercoaster. may not seem like a big deal to some but my fear of heights was once so bad there were some stairs I couldn’t climb
my 2025 goals:
- pass my final driving test
- finally finish my novel
- find gainful employment
- get a snapping turtle stomach tattoo
finally playing cyberpunk 2077 and this is the first game in a long time that's got me strolling around just to enjoy the scenery, listen in on npc conversations, and read all the posters and graffiti. this also happens to be what i do irl every day so i might just be a fan of the "city" experience
the game I’ve been working on for the past few years just released last week! really proud of what our team built together
guess who got the slush pile reader position 👀 genuinely so excited to be the first set of eyes on a bunch of short horror story submissions in the new year
Fighting a malignant millionaire CEO has brought me and my family on the verge of a very real bankruptcy.
This is not a drill, I genuinely need your help. Please, take a look at my fundraiser and share it if you can.

applying for jobs (and slush pile reader volunteer positions) has turned me into someone I never thought I’d become: a guy who’s always checking his email
i’ve always hated wearing socks because it icks me out to have my toes smooshed together. finally bought myself a pair of toe socks to try out and i’m devastated to say they are in fact extremely comfortable and nice to wear
cart for a small dog. in good working order
building an aquarium simulator with a functioning nitrogen cycle technically counts as working on the game dev job hunt right? it’s uh. portfolio building
as of yesterday i am now the proud owner of a 14g nose ring. did not know stretching nostril piercings hurt until i was in the chair with the taper in position and my piercer told me to take a deep breath
the relationship of randomness to strategy is such a delicate balance of excitement/fairness. balatro handles this extremely well, but of course its theming helps the player accept randomness… I think the bazaar’s theming has the opposite effect
the bazaar is a great little game but the more I play it, the more I get this feeling that I’m just spinning on a really elaborate slot machine
really thrilling to post again after so long on a fresh platform unburdened by the weight of posts before. one of the more horrifying things about using social media since middle school is your cringe paper trail
